Technotribalart.com proudly announces that the work of Terri Stiles Alkayali was selected to be featured in the current publication of Fashione e-zine July 2010.

Technotribal art has created a new cultural trend. It is all the rage on the runways. The art was created way ahead of the popular embrace of technotribalism. A unique formula empowers each work with a strong stage presence and power. You will feel intrigued and amazed by the works of Terri Stiles Alkayali, visible in the site www.technotribalart.com. The fusion of organic and mechanical not only combines ancestral to modern, simultaneously taking a step forward and a step back to the past, it also exemplifies the mystical imagery of tribal culture and the cyborgean future. Terri Stiles Alkayali’s journey as the messenger of images that chronicle these cultural transformations. In the words of the artist:

Man is technology. Man is tribal. Man is belief. The technology changes

the essence of the tribe and the essence of the tribe permeates the

technology”

Technotribal Art invites you to appreciate the enchanted and exquisite works of Terri Stiles Alkayali at www.technotribalart.com.

labels

News Post : I shut down the art community forum on Technotribalart.com due to undesirable traffic.
Interestingly each post requires a label. My work was designated TechnoTribal Art by a former museum director for a catalogue raisonne'.The original Surrealists inspired the automatic technique I employ, The characters that evolved from this method were labeled archetypal by various professional viewers. The work, really close to anime, Universal style, awaits animation at this stage. For years, professors and art viewers move the sculptures in their minds. Labels define our world for immediate usage.Fortunately when linked to other label they transform and mutate.
